The first term examination is starting to unnerve and dismay me thoroughly. Despite having the teachers state how this examination is just a mere test to gauge our progress, the seriousness of it entirely belies their statement. Unlike the previous year, this time, we had an exam schedule and were impelled to follow the seating arrangements. Fortunately, there will be no recording of our marks in the report card, and this information to me, appears to be the only solace.
SimilarIy to my friends, I too have been a victim of procrastination. This detrimental habit has mired me for years now and to dispel myself of it seems too much of a formidable task. Amidst my fraught last-minute studying, I seek amusement from my friends who happen to be in the same piteous predicament as I am. From statements like 'We are doomed for failure'! to 'I can't finish studying!', the lamentable plight in which we are ensnarled in is rather hilarious, yet ridiculous. However, we made a pact to rid ourselves of such infelicitous behaviors and instead, persevere for the future midterm examination. Let's hope for the best!!!!!!!!!!
